Janice Min inks deal to be a consultant with NBCUniversal

Former Hollywood Reporter top editor Janice Min has inked a deal as a consultant with NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.

Min will advise E! and other female-skewing networks in the role.

The studio’s cable boss Bonnie Hammer had already appointed Min to the advisory board of its Erase the Hate campaign. Since stepping aside as co-president/chief creative officer of Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group last year, Min was buzzed about for a number of top media jobs, including Vanity Fair editor.

She said in February that she considered taking over the LA Times.

Min will still consult for THR parent Valence Media. Under current editorial director Matthew Belloni, THR celebrates its “35 Most Powerful People in Media” list at the Pool in NYC on Thursday.
