Russell Crowe is officially back on the dating market.
“In other news… yesterday, April 9th 2018 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (Aus)… I officially became divorced,” the actor tweeted. “Thank you linesman. Thank you ball boys.”
The 53-year-old — who was married Danielle Spencer for 15 years, but became estranged from her in 2012 — set up his own “Art of Divorce” auction at Sotheby’s Australia this month, featuring 227 personal items and pieces of film memorabilia.
The Academy Award-winning actor was very hands-on during the curation process, as we previously reported.
“He picked the music. He designed the setup. He was heavily involved,” Sotheby’s Australia Head of Arts and Design Guy Cairnduff exclusively told Page Six in Sydney last week.
The pair’s split was “amicable,” Cairnduff added, saying: “A lot of people won’t see it that way, but it’s a healthy way to move on.”
In the wake of the divorce auction, rumors started flying about who he’s dating. He took to Twitter this week to slam a report that he’s seeing famed Australian radio star and actress Fifi Box.
