Emmy-nominated actress Maisie Williams, who plays the defiant Arya Stark on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” this weekend published a photograph of her bloodied sneakers to her 7.7 million fans on Instagram.
Accompanying the photograph was once a farewell message to her fanatics: “Goodbye Belfast. Goodbye Arya. Good-Bye ‘Recreation of Thrones.’ What a pleasure I’ve had. Right Here’s to the adventures to come #lastwomanstanding #barely #immasleepforthenextfouryears #justkiddingidontsleep.”
Precisely what does Williams mean by the hashtag “final woman standing”? Is she hinting that Arya survives Cersei (Lena Headey), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and even her sister Sansa (Sophie Turner) in the struggle for the Iron Throne? That Might in point of fact be something, bearing in mind Daenerys’s dragons, Cersei’s army and Sansa’s men of the north.
On a more mundane level, Williams may just merely be saying that she used to be the remaining actress to wrap her scenes on the series.
With the collection slated to go back in 2019, fans — a few FORTY,000 of which commented on Williams’ submit — can have masses to chunk over.
