A Brooklyn man, accused of trying to grab a child from its stroller, mouthed off in court Thursday night, telling a prosecutor that fees against him are “crazy.”
Assistant DA Jordan Roosman was describing how Matthew Waly, 27, had pulled a stroller away from a mother in Prospect Heights and stated “Supply me your baby” while the suspect blurted out his objection.
“Oh sh-t, that’s crazy, that’s wild,” Waly stated in open court docket. “you got to stop.”
The pass judgement on sternly advised Waly to hush.Then Roosman went directly to give an explanation for how the newborn’s father struggled with the defendant for greater than 30 seconds before Waly ran around the boulevard.
The dad pursued Waly before they ran into a police officer who arrested him, prosecutors mentioned.
In his police interview, Waly stated he only desired to play with the child, according to the DA.
“i was just fiddling with the baby. I’ve performed this earlier than in New York and i never had a problem,” Waly allegedly instructed cops.
He was once hung on $ONE HUNDRED,00 bail and charged with attempted kidnapping.
